Day of Thanks

Day of Thanks
Thanksgiving... some consider it one step closer to Christmas.  Some refer it to as "turkey day" (can i just say that could possibly be my biggest pet peeve?).  But Thanksgiving isn't, or at least shouldn't be, just an excuse to stuff your face and go into a deep turkey coma. For today's special occasion I thought I would take a couple minutes and list the things I feel most grateful for and so blessed with...

-my amazing family
-my adorable niece Lille and two crazy nephews Greyson and Canyon.
-my parents who support me through everything
-my sisters Krista and Melissa.. aka my best friends
-my brothers, the 2 biggest goons of my life.
-whales
-the LDS church
-my car (sick saturn)
-my apartment
-my cat stefani and fish moby
-my (flip) cell phone
-my best friends
-KDK
-Kappa Delta which has brought me my best friends and sisters for life
-my adorable grandparents who are so selfless and pure in every way
-my laptop
-USU
-mexican food
-diet coke
-my health
-my hair
-my clothes
-my sense of humor (because i am pretty funny..)
-sushi
-shoes
-game nights
-mountains
-oceans
-my ability to read
-my experiences
-my trials
-my relationships
-love
-friendship
-happiness
-truth
-trust
-my testimony
-kittens
-rain
-laughing
-sunshine
-flowers
-internet

Thanksgiving makes me realize the many things I am so lucky and blessed with.  I only wish it didn't take the holiday to make me realize my blessings.  Like I always say... "Thanksgiving, after all, is a word of action".  Just kidding... I don't say that W.J Cameron did. But still, doesn't make it an less true.

Viva Las Vegas

Today I got back from Las Vegas with my BFF Loosie...
Shout out to my baby gurl and her dad, Papa Wachtor for the wonderful trip! Let me start by saying, Vegas isn't my favorite place on earth to begin with,  but it's a bit of a different experience going with your best friend.  Larry Wachtor hooked up Lucy with some sweet with Lady Antebellum concert tickets as well as a 2 night stay in the Hard Rock Cafe hotel & casino!!!  I really feel i live for live music, and this concert was amazing.  We were sure to get there early enough to be front row directly next to the catwalk out.  We even touched the bands hands! Luckily for us Vegas is full of people from all around the world so we made friends with the girls next to us reeeeal quick.

The next day was dedicated to shopping, walking the strip and of course going to Margaritaville! Vegas really is such an awesome place for shopping and vacation, but made me appreciate how much i love Utah, nerdy as i am. whatevs. That night we we just did whatever we felt. We may or may not have gone and done something a little crazy for Lucy's birthday,
but like I always say..."What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas... until my pics blow up everyones newsfeed on Facebook."

ΚΔ Daddy Daut Day!

Kappa Delta Daddy Daughter Day!
Need I say more? It is basically one of my favorite KD holidays. I want to give a shout out to my dad, Scott Webb and my mom for driving up to Logan to visit me and my sis Krista.  It really was the perfect Saturday with the fam.  First it was me and my papi vs Loosie & Larry Wachtor in bowling. It was a close match the first round, and we lost by just a little teeny.  But by round two we obviously blew them out of the water.  Then we saw Footloose (sweet movie... not) and then went to Tandori Oven and i tried Indian food!  I was really so upset I didn't love it. All I know is, I love my family sooo much! in fact, maybe too much. some may even call it creepy. But regardless, I'm so happy my dad came up for this special occasion (even though i think it was just for the free shirt). But seriously peeps... I have the best dad. Like I always say... "the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree." I Love You Dad!!!!
